A high-ranking al Shabaab official, who was injured in central Somali during fighting, died from his wounds in Mogadishu, officials said yesterday. An official from Shabelle Valley administration in Hiran region said that Abdurrahman Diriye Ali was injured during a fight against Shabelle Valley troops outside of Beletweyne.
