TFG Supreme Court issues formal verdict on SKA in Mogadishu

The supreme court of the TFG has formally issued a verdict on air and logistic company SKA claiming that it is legally operating at the International Airport of Somalia in Mogadishu. Aidid Ilka-Hanaf, the Chairman of the High Court of the Somali government on Tuesday announced the decision of the court, adding that SKA had signed a 10 year agreement with the TFG.

Clashes between al Shabaab militia and local residents in Mir-Takwa, Middle Shabelle

Heavy fighting between the local residents and Somali’s al Shabaab insurgent group erupted in Mir-Takwa village, 40 kilometer from Mahaday district in Middle Shabelle region. The fighting, which saw both sides using heavy weapons erupted on Tuesday after al Shabaab fighters attacked the residents.
Armed militias dressed as gov’t military uniforms arrested in Mogadishu

Kuwait donates ambulances to Somalia

Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) presented Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) with two fully-equipped ambulances that would be used to serve the Somali people, reports say. IOM keenly study links between piracy and HIV/AIDS in Puntland

Critical month in Somalia Famine

Groups seek Somalia detention answers from President Obama
